KBI has further developed its relationship with LEGOLAND Windsor by installing Flexipave porous surfacing within the newly open wild forest. Located within the park's MYTHICA zone, the paths have been created using 220m2 of the HD1500 material, finished in Elegant Green and Signal Red.
Installation was carried out by KBI's long-term strategic partner AC Plant, who installed the Fleixpave on to a cell-web base system. This was specified due to the woodland locaiton, and the stipulation from both BE Services and the LEGOland team that no trees be damaged during the creation of the path. The cell-web system allowed the paths to be created with no digging.
The Flexipave paths within MYTHICA are part of an extension to the zone, which was originally opened in 2021 and featured the first use of KBI Flexiglass, a colourful bound glass system that allowed the architects to create stunning designs to the entrance of the new LEGO kingdom.
