Senior Management Team
Kevin Bagnall – Founder and Chairman
Kevin has vast experience of the recycled rubber tyre industry both in Europe and the United States of America. He became involved in wet pour safety surfacing in the UK over 25 years ago, leaving for America 20 years ago. He set up a safety surfacing company in America that within a short space of time became a market leader. During this time Kevin developed our flagship product KBI Flexi-Pave™ and brought it to the US market.
Graham Pell – Managing Director
Graham is responsible for the overall leadership and management of KBI UK, as well as driving the sales and marketing strategies within the organisation. He joined the company in June 2011 having previously worked in the playground industry for 18 years. Graham has an extensive knowledge of the rubber surfacing industry having previously worked for several rubber-surfacing companies. Graham has developed a vast portfolio of clients within local authorities, landscape architects and the construction industry.
Alex Pell – General Manager
Alex takes the lead role in project managing KBI UK’s installations. Working closely with Andrew Brocklehurst, Alex helps to plan and execute the complicated task of getting the material onto the ground. In addition to his project management duties, Alex also looks after clients in the Yorkshire region and is responsible for the health & safety aspects of KBI UK’s operation.
Head Office Team
Margaret Ashton – Accounts Manager
With a long background in working for one of the UK’s largest building societys, Margaret’s accounts experience is significant. Margaret plays a valuable role in the effective running of KBI UK Ltd, dealing with both incoming and outgoing payments in a highly professional manner.
Keelie Bodnar – Office Manager
Keelie manages the day-to-day operations within the KBI UK Ltd head office in Halifax, West Yorkshire. Providing invaluable support to both the sales and installation teams, Keelie handles many of the backroom administrative duties that are essential to the smooth running of the company.
Kyle Armitage – Accounts & Sales Support
Kyle Ermitage joined KBI UK in September 2016 as an apprentice. His work involves supporting the sales team by providing documentation and material, as well as managing invoices and purchase orders for the company. In addition to his office duties, Kyle undertakes college studies as part of his apprenticeship.
UK Sales Team
Peter Beavon – Area Sales Manager, London & South
Peter joined KBI UK in 2016 with extensive experience in the playground, surfacing, and ground working industries. Based on the south coast, Peter gives KBI valuable coverage in key parts of the country and looks after the quickly expanding network of London Boroughs, Local Authorities and commercial companies utilising KBI Flexipave.
Steve Ashall – Area Sales Consultant, North West & Wales
Steve has significant experience within the children’s play equipment industry and had worked with Graham Pell prior to joining KBI UK in October 2012.
Based in Warrington, Steve is responsible for sales in the North West, West Midlands, and North Wales.
